TFCC - Biking and Barge (Approx 10 Miles)

TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club this week explores the grand union by bike and barge. The ride will start from West Drayton Station near the bike racks, at 11am and will explore the off road routes, to Uxbridge, following the Frays river, and the Colne Valley trail before returning along the Grand Union Canal where we will meet the barge at 1:45pm for setting off at 2pm. Once on board the barge we can enjoy the relaxing trip along the Grand Union Canal taking in the sights and experience without getting saddle sore. There be talks, book reading and light refreshments, this is a ticketed event at £5.00 per person, available from West Drayton and Yiewsely Libraries. This trip is part of the city reads event, in conjunction with the Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch.
