TFCC - Back for Summer - Richmond Park - Approx 30 miles

TFCC - Traffic Free Cycle Club rides uses the network of Traffic Free Cycle paths, canal towpaths, Playground and Green spaces to keep our rides as traffic free as possible.

This ride will be to Richmond Park, following this River Crane from Cranford Park, 90% traffic free to Richmond Park.

We will stop for refreshments along the way.

This ride is for confident children with well behave parents/guardians. The route will take us through many parks of West London following the River Crane to Richmond Park. The ride will be 30 miles round trip, or 15 miles if you want to be picked up from Richmond Park.

The majority of the route is off road using a mixture of Parks, shared pathways, wooded pathways on the way there, and the way back will be mainly on the Grand Union Canal the Brentford Arm.

We will stop every 5 miles or so, there will be forced stops due to gates etc. so plenty of other stops in between. There will be a cafe stop after the big hill into Richmond at Roehampton Gate.

Children please bring your well behaved responsible parents, and definitely no whingers. Also bring with you a spare inner tube, a roadworthy bike, a puncture repair kit and pump Finally most essentially a great sense of humour and adventure
