TFCC - 3 Event Ride - Approx 30 Miles

TFCC - Traffic Free Cycling Club rides start from West Drayton Station near the bike racks, we leave 15 mins after the start time, and can wait longer if people text or call to let me know they are running late (07867824809). We use the network of canal tow paths, cycle trails and paths to keep us as off road as possible, this however means there will be mud, glorious mud. So please don't bring your road bikes with super thin tyres these rides will not be suitable. We are riding to 3 events, the Velodrome in Uxbridge, followed an event at Ruislip, with the finale at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. The timings and route are as follows 10.00 - Meet at West Drayton Station 10.15 - After introductions of newbies, and waiting for usual late attendees (usually me) 11.00 - After following the river Frays to Uxbridge our first stop / event will be at the pop up Velodrome. 12.00 - we head off continuing down the river Frays, taking a little road before heading off road again crossing the A40 into Ickenham, crossing Ruislip Golf Club, through a tunnel, and a few more quite roads to the Ruislip Lido. 14.00 - opportunity for lunch before heading through the woods, and gravel pits to mount Vernon Hospital, with an opportunity for a pub lunch stop at the olde green man 15.00 - leaving the pub, we enjoy a lovely downhill through Moor Park golf club, to our final event at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. 17.00 - Time to head back to WD following the Hillingdon Trail. 19.00 - Back at West Drayton Station * NOTE - All timings are estimates, and are dependent on how long we spend at the event, plus the speed of the ride, as well as dealing with punctures and other malfunctions. This is an all day event, with plenty of breaks, you are welcome to join but if you have to leave early then you would need to make arrangements to get back. I will support and help where I can.
