Tea at the Church

The roads on this ride might be familiar to you but we'll be riding some of them "backwards" ie in the opposite direction to that we normally take. We go first to Welham, turn right to Weston and then take the backroads to Slawston. From Slawston we go through Slawston and turn left up the not inconsiderable hill into Church Langton. Don't worry though, a lot of us will be pushing our bikes up and there's the prospect of tea at the top! From there it's more or less downhill all the way home.

We ride on quiet country lanes with little traffic.

Our "coffee stop" for this ride is at St Peter's church and Langton Community Hall in Church Langton where homemade cream teas are being served. We'll also stop for breathers and water along the way as we need them.

You must wear a helmet on this ride. It's a good idea to bring some water, some money (if you want a cream tea) and a spare inner tube just in case!

We ride at a gently pace chatting as we go and we never leave anyone behind.
