Want to explore and have an adventure? Cycle on trails you never knew existed? Then get yourself booked onto this ride.

A small amount of road (approx 20%) to link bridleways and off road trails. Most of the bridlepaths are a tad uneven with a small number of raised tree roots, and cycleways are a mix of loose gravel and stones. There are quite a number of gates and a fair number of other obstacles to navigate through/over. Therefore please ensure you are capable of lifting your own bike.

There will be a cafe stop approx. 15 mile in, therefore please bring sufficient snacks and drinks to keep you going.

As always on a HRS ride, no helmet, no ride. Also please bring a lock for the pit stop.

Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing for our fine English unpredictable weather. More thin layers is better than one thick layer. If we have experienced wet weather leading up to the ride, the trails will be a tad muddy. Also your footwear MUST be suitable for this kind of terrain. Off road tyres are necessary on this ride. Your fellow cyclists will appreciate it if your bike is fitted with mudguards..... just saying.

This is a ladies MTB route leading off from Rivi, cycling on as many off road trails as possible before arriving at Ryal Fold for lunch and then heading back to the start point. It isn't an entirely circular route but not far off.

Although there are no technical sections on this ladies MTB ride, there are a couple of notable climbs that you need to be aware of and the distance is longer than your typical ride so you will need to have a decent level of stamina.

There will be either a pub stop at the Royal or a cafe stop at Vaughns at approx 10 miles in. We will confirm nearer the time, once we have reccied the route again, therefore please bring your pennies.

As alway on a HRS ride, no helmet, no ride. Please be self sufficient as ensure you have all the equipment you would need for your OWN bike for any trailside repair and ensure your emergency contact noted on the lets ride site is aware of your whereabouts on this day (in case you need to be collected). Please wear/carry appropriate clothing ALWAY carry a waterproof, no matter what the forecast tells you and several snacks and liquid refreshments.
