Approximately an hour loop of the Cardiff Bay trail, starting outside the castle in the city centre, following the Taff Trail then the Bay trail, over Pont y Werin and Penarth Marina, before cycling over the barrage and back on the Taff Trail to the castle to finish.
Mostly traffic free segregated shared use paths with some short sections on roads and a quiet roundabout
Optional comfort break in the Bay & stop along barrage to take sunset photo
Please bring a helmet, water, a spare layer for warmth, any tools you may need and a spare inner tube
