After leaving the pub we will head out towards Gustard Wood. Passing through Ayot St Lawrence we will arrive in Codicote. There will be some hills, but we will always wait at the top and take them slowly. Wiggling our way back through more lanes and villages we will arrive back where we began.

At last we have some better weather so we are doing a ride to the delightful Spokes coffee shop in Codicote. A ride of about 20 miles, we will average between 8-10 miles per hour.

This is labelled a green ride as we will ride a mix of lanes and some slightly busier roads. All types of bikes are suitable, including e bikes.

We will stop for a coffee break at Spokes which is about half way round. If you have not been here you are in for a treat.

The important bits: Do ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues. Ride Related: - check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!) - carry 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump - Money for coffee/emergencies. Helmet (compulsory on ride-sorry!) - Sun cream - Water and a snack, just in case - Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter) - Lights (not essential but a plus in winter)

We especially welcome newbies!
