Sunday Countryside Meander - Purbrook to Hambledon

A steady to slightly challenging countryside ride to Hambledon. There are a few hills on this route (difficult to avoid in the Hambledon area). Some hills have long steady climbs (moderately challenging) but are not too steep.
Starting from the Cricket Pavilion Car Park, Purbrook Heath Road (opposite Rowans Hospice). Parking is free. Toilets available.

Heading out through Purbrook Heath towards Denmead. Passing woodland, farms, thatched cottages. We cycle through Hoe Gate and then make our way to Hambledon. We will stop for a break at The Old Forge Tea Room.

Please ensure your bike is in good working order. Check your brakes are working correctly and tyres fully inflated!
Bring a lock to secure your bike outside the cafe.
