Summer Breeze Pedal to Picnic!

We ride a circular route down thr cycle lane to Hatfield, through to Welham Green, skirting Brookmans Park, across North Mymms to Colney Heath, to Smallford, Wilkins Green, Ellenbrook and back through the University, Hatfield and finishing at Stanborough Park. Approximately 18 mules. There will be local roads, country lanes and possibly busier sections. Expect a few undulations but we will regroup.

There are no scheduled stops on the ride, but we finish by the lakes at Stanborough Park to meet up with other Breeze groups for a summer picnic!

Helmets are compulsory. High visibility weather appropriate clothing must be worn - be safe, be seen. Cycling mitts are recommended for bumpy sections of roads. Front and rear cycle lights are recommended. Spare inner tubes, levers, a pump and puncture repair kit are recommended if you have them. In case of any incidents, please have the telephone number of a friend or relative that is available to assist in your return journey home. Bring a light picnic to enjoy at the end of the ride and / or card or cash to buy snacks at the cafe in Stanborough Park.
