Starting point

Devon
PL7 1SS

For the first time since Autumn we will roll out in the last knocking of daylight. Entering Saltram we will cross the railway line and serenely ascend up to the stately home and onto Stag Lodge. Veering off towards Colesdown Hill we lurch upwards and take the left onto the A379 to the Elburton Pub. We traverse through the village and sharply climb up to the new Asda Garage. It’s along Staddiscombe Road to pick up Hooe Lane and sauntering along the lanes to the Golf club. Time to test the brakes before we swoop down the hill towards Turnchapel and Hooe, slipping past Roadford Park and turning into Dean Park Road and Plymstock Road to taking a right onto the Rail trail to Pomphlett Roundabout. On the cycle path over the Plym and through Cattedown to the Barbican and Hoe. Refreshed we will navigate through the back streets to the Barbican. We willl then head back to Laira Bridge and down the Embankment.
