Please only sign up if you are sure you can make the full ride. This is not a ride for beginners, or riders inexperienced in cycling in Central London. There is the expectation that you can maintain a steady pace and keep up with the group as we will be cycling in some potentially busy areas.
This is a ride up to the Centre of London and perhaps see some daffodils en route (sightings not guaranteed after the recent weather but it's a lovely ride anyway)
We will ride up to the City via Peckham and Walworth crossing the river at Blackfriars bridge. We will make our way to St James's park via segregated cycle paths, taking in the Victoria Embankment (possible daffodil sightings) and Tyburn Quay. There will be a coffee stop in St James's.
We will return via Vauxhall, Peckham and the Waterlink way. The ride will end at Catford.
This is a ride on a mixture of mainly traffic free and quiet roads. There is the possibility, however that some roads may be busy and you should be a competent and confident rider in such traffic conditions. We will try and maintain a steady pace in order to keep warm.
Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and that your bike is in good working order.
Make sure your details on your profile are up-to-date, in particular that we have a phone number for you.
