Join us for a ride up to Hebden Bridge, a mix of towpath, trail and a couple of sections of road to connect, don't be put off by the mileage, the return leg from Hebden Bridge is on the towpath

Its a fabulous route with plenty of stunning scenery and wildlife

Leaving the car park we head up the towpath to Luddenden Foot, where we come off turning left onto Station road and head for Vocation Brewery, pick up the trail that runs next to the railway line, then its onto Blind lane past Microsearch and pick up the trail again onto Mytholmroyd train station, here we turn left onto the road, turning right at the old fire station, this is a short sharp climb, but don't worry it can be walked, onto Thrush Hill road, down and under the railway bridge, turning left onto Caldene avenue and follow to the next trail, turning right onto Calder brook, then Carr lane where we arrive at Hebden Bridge, turning right onto Mayroyd lane (it is a bit lumpy), we will head through the park and over Black pit lock, then onto the road, across the traffic lights and into town for a coffee or tea at one of the many cafes that is on offer

Leaving the town we head back to the park picking the towpath up and head back down to Sowerby Bridge

Pennies for a caffeine stop and sweet treat and spare inner tube
