Sirhowy To Taff Bargoed ( Bring Your Other Half To Show Them What Your Made Of )

This is a perfect opportunity to bring your husband , wife , partner , boyfriend , girlfriend or just a friend to sample what we enjoy every week .

On this ride we start at the Sirhowy Valley Country Park car park ( the free one just as you turn in from the road , parking on the kerb side or in car park spaces ) and continue our popular Newport to Sirhowy ride on to Parc Taff Bargoed .

A really lovely ride following old railway tracks and cycle paths , steadily (mostly gently) uphill on the way out to Parc Taff Bargoed where we will stop for a cuppa and a slice before a lovely gentle downhill ride home .

The coffee kiosk will proberbly be open as it's a Bank Holiday Monday but just in case it is closed bring a little something to keep you going for the ride home .

Please bring a bike lock .

Please ensure your brakes are functional and that your wheels are turning freely , tyres should be firm enough that you can't dimple them with your thumb .
