Shrivenham RBL Coffee Morning Ride

Please ignore any comments about Pizzas on this page. I copied a previous ride BUT could not edit out those bits We will take the now familiar roads to Bishopstone, Ashbury, Comptom Beauchamp, noting the war memorial as we pass, Uffington Fernham and Longcot. If needs be we can shorten the ride by returning directly from Compton Beauchamp

A bit of a two counties ride in which, briefly, we pop from Oxfordshire into Wiltshire before returning to our home county and winding our through some local villages before returning to Shrivenham just in time for wood fired pizzas at a local inn.

All of this route is on quieter country lanes

No refreshment stops planned, as we want to get back for Pizzas (and liquid refreshements) , but we can stop for a breather if necessary so bring a full water bottle and a snack bar if you wish.

For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the pizza stop.
