This is one of our regular shorter rides, to a popular local National Trust park. This ride is ideal for the less regular cyclist, and for any woman who wants a short ride at a steady pace, to encourage her to get back into cycling, to build confidence riding on roads, and to meet other local women on bikes.

We ride through Hanwell, via the Brent Valley and Dormers Wells, to reach Southall Park, where a traffic free cycle path brings us back to the Grand Union Canal at Top Lock. We continue on through Norwood Green to reach Osterley Park.

After a pause for refreshments at the Stables Cafe https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/london/osterley-park-and-house/eating-and-shopping-at-osterley-park#cb-123345248-0 , our homeward route takes us down to the river at Isleworth, and then back to Ealing via Syon Park, Brentford and Boston Manor Park.

We have the option of shortening the ride, by returning to Top Lock and riding along the canal towpath to Hanwell, and then returning to Ealing.
