This is a steady ride for reasonably competent riders who would like a half day ride at a leisurely pace on a Saturday morning.
*Please note that we are starting from Walpole Park, not Ealing Town Hall*
This is one of our regular local rides, enjoying quieter roads, riverside paths and views, and a lovely café stop.
We will take quieter roads from Ealing, down to Chiswick Bridge and cross the river to Mortlake, riding on through Barnes before joining the riverside path where it is quite wide, for a short distance into Putney. Crossing back over the river, we reach our destination: the historic Fulham Palace, once the home of the Bishop of London. We will enjoy delicious refreshments in the café and maybe have a stroll around the gardens if the weather is fine.
