Mainly traffic free but just a bit of rural lane to negotiate. Route is mainly across open countryside with one or two woods to cross too. Lots of dirt trails so good cycle control is required, or you may get wet and muddy if you fall off.
Two coffee stops, one just after half way, and the other at route end.

There is a couple of swing gates/styles where a lift may be necessary and another one where a 'lift onto back wheel' manoeuvre is needed. You need to be able to lift your bike on your own if necessary.

There could be some large puddles, your bike may get wet.

Early morning ride, across fields and woods, to Hodsock Priory. Up n at it before most of the dog walkers are out of bed :-)

Trails tracks Bridleways and one or two footpaths. Mainly dirt and gravel but a bit of tarmac too. Probably muddy in places and probably some large puddles to cross

Stop at Langold Park cafe, and again at Insomnia coffee shop at route end

Always wise to wear a helmet, gloves, and other protective items. Must haves are - puncture stuff, good repair kit, inner tube, and some way to inflate too

First-timers welcome!
