Starting point

Roxburghshire
TD7 5AJ

Meeting at Selkirk swimming pool we head up to the Ettrick Valley road and follow it through to just past Oakwood Mill. We then turn up and over the Woll to Ashkirk where we turn right and over the moor to Blawearie. We take a left down Hardens Hill to turning left just before the A7 to Wilton Park where we'll stop at the Pavilion Cafe for refreshments. After our break we'll head up to Whitehaugh, Stinty Knowe and East Boonraw to the A7. We ride a short downhill stretch on the A7 and take a left to Appletreehall. From there we head to Hassendean, Midlem and Lindean where we'll take a left at Lindean mast back to Selkirk. The route is hilly and very scenic. A great challenge in building up to those 100km sportives.

Helmets must be worn and make sure you have clothing suitable for the conditions. Please make sure you have enough fluid and food to see you to the cafe stop. We will stop for a breather as and when needed.

Please also ensure that your bike is in good order and that you carry an inner tube, pump and levers. A multitool is also very handy.
