Using Alconbury as our base we will take in a circular route initially heading out towards Sawtry but then looping back round towards the Giddings and taking in a few of the surrounding villages. Some elevation but nothing too challenging.

This is part of the mix and match series that will see us starting from different locations in and around Huntingdon to add variety to our rides. As a guide rides will be between 15-20 miles mainly on quieter roads and this will give both newer riders and more experienced cyclists the opportunity to get out and enjoy a group ride. Whilst speed is not important on these rides as a guide we are probably going to be somewhere between 11-14 mph (depending on the group). It is steady riding and we will always go at the pace of the slowest rider. This is a no drop ride.

Quiet rural roads with some cycle tracks. We will at times use busier roads to gain access to the quieter roads. Suitable for any kind of bike but road / gravel / hybrid would be ideal.

We will not be stopping on these rides other than to take in fluid / snack and capture a group photo!

Helmets are a must on all Sassy Lassies rides. Please ensure your bike is roadworthy with properly inflated tyres. Please carry a spare inner tube and tools and water / snack. Ride leaders will have a first aid kit and are first aid trained.

We never leave anyone behind
