Leaving Monton, we cycle up towards Swinton on traffic free trails, picking up the road towards Agecroft and onwards to Drinkwater Park. We'll meander along the paths around the park and pick up the Outwood Trail to our cafe stop.
Quiet roads drop us back down to Ringley, past Giants Seat and back to Drinkwater Park. Designated cycle paths take us back to the East Lancs Road and we retrace our route back to Monton along the traffic free trails

This is mainly an out and back route with a couple of detours along the way

The majority of the route is traffic free along cycle tracks and trails but there are some roads to navigate linking the trails

There will be plenty of time to stop along the way and we'll have a break for refreshments mid way

Please check the weather before setting out and dress accordingly. You'll need to wear a helmet and its a good idea to carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit if you have one. Bring money for refreshments or your own drink/snacks

We never leave anyone behind
