A road ride over to Catforth in Preston to visit Roots, a popular and favourite cafe with cyclists. We make our way out of Eccleston to Croston, passing through several villages to join the new cycle lane in Penwortham and onto the Guild Wheel to navigate round Preston. The route takes us out to Lea and then Catforth using some new shared cyclepaths created by the new Preston western distribution road. We return on part of the same route through Preston before passing through Whitestake, Midge Hall and Ulnes Walton to reach our starting point.

This route is all on different types of road, some busy, and shared cyclepaths.

Please wear a helmet. Bring your own items to repair a puncture, drink, snacks and payment method for the cafe.

We never leave anyone behind
