Ring a round of resi’s

This is not a novice ride nor a technical ride and you MUST have a very good level of fitness to join. There are several steep climbs and descents which you will be unable to walk up/down.
This is only suitable for mountain bikes only.

This MTB ride heads off from Smithills Estate and heads over to the dizzy heights of Dunscar and Roddlesworth before circling back through Heapey and Rivington.

Mainly off road trails, some with loose rocks, stones etc. There are a couple of roads used to continue onto further trails. Please note some trail areas are rutted and if is has been wet will be extremely muddy and full of surface water.

There will be a stop but depending on a number of factors, the location will be decided on the day. This is a long MTB ride so adequate snacks and liquid refreshments are a must.

Helmets are a requirement, no helmet, no ride!! In addition appropriate clothing for the ride as well as clothing to change into for your journey home if travelling by car.

Please note the car park has a height barrier restriction therefore if travelling in a van or with bikes on top of car you will need to park on the road. There is no charge for the car park.
