Starting from - Pavilion Café at Queens Park is the meeting point.

-Parking
Street parking available in surrounding areas.

-A long-stay car park is available.
Just off Chorley new road on to Park Street
Access Queens park through Park Street (not Park Road), just off Chorley New Road.
Once through the park gateway there is a mini roundabout with a car park up a short incline on the right.
Be mindful, Parking on spa road carpark is time limited and may incur a fine.

Starting from Pavilion Café at Queens Park we ride past university leaving town and pickup route 55, to Roe Green loop line towards Parr Fold Park. Here we use the Tyldesley Loopline and ride onto Ellenbrook. We use the canal towpath to ride along Bridgewater way and into Monton. We have planned an outdoor café stop, weather permitting, at The Horsebox in Worsley. Do please carry a snack and a drink. We return via shared cycle paths, quiet roads and looplines.

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before. A helmet is needed to join the ride. Carrying your own spare innertubes, tyre levers, pump, a lock is advisable. Please come 15 minutes before the start time for a quick bike check.

We request that everyone wears a helmet for safety anyone not wearing a helmet will be unable to join us on the ride. Spare inner tubes, tyre levers, pump, a lock and some cash for the cafe stop would be advisable.

Photos will be taken during the ride which will be shared on social media. If you do not wish your photo to be taken, please advise a ride leader before the ride.
