Ride to Yours is the Earth at Parbold

The ride will leave Robin Park and follow the cycle path to the Red Robin traffic lights and continue through Marsh Green and Kitt Green before descending Gathurst Road to the Canal.
The ride follows the towpath to Parbold where we will stop at Yours is the Earth for refreshments.

The return journey involves a short climb and will be via Mill Lane, Alder Lane, Higher Lane and Lees Lane and back to Appley Bridge where we will follow the canal towpath back to Robin Park.

This is a barrier free ride and suitable for any bike.

As usual photos will be taken on the ride and will be put on the Wigan and Leigh Cycling Group Facebook page - please notify the ride leaders if you do not want your photo taken.

A ride to the beautiful village of Parbold.

The ride is a mixture of canal towpath, quiet roads and short stretches of busy road.

There will be short stops en route and a longer stop for refreshments at Yours is the Earth in Parbold.

Please bring drinks/snacks or money to buy them. Helmets should be worn on this ride.
