Starting from - The starting point is at the Timber Lane Car Park which is off the main road B6039 between Holmewood and Tibshelf.

Timber Lane is the first road on the right coming from Holmewood and third road after passing the Shoulder at Hardstoft.

Follow the lane down to the car park which is around the bends after the farm.

Follow the Five Pits Trail sign post. S45 8AL

Starting at the Timber Lane Car park we will ride along the Five Pits Trail towards Tibshelf where we will pick up the Silverhill Trail heading towards the Teversal Trail and finally onto Pleasley Country Park.

The Cafe and visitor centre will be a good stopping point for refreshments and a look at the museum before returning back to the starting point at Timber Lane.

All welcome to join this predominatly flat ride with just a couple of climbs but not that taxing, no one is left behind everyone is supported.

Starting from the car park on Timber Lane which is on the Five Pits Trail between Holmewood and Tibshelf.

The route is off road for all of the route with several road crossings. The surface is a good hard surface suitable for Hybrid Gravel and MTB.

A cafe stop at Pleasley Colliery Cafe and a visit to the museum and visitor centre (free entry)

A helmet is compulsary on this ride and tools and repair kit advisable
