About the route
Starting point

The route starts in the car park at Heriot Watt and heads out along the cycle path to Melrose, Newstead and up Leaderfoot Hill to Scotts View. From there we head to St Boswells via Clintmains on to Charlesfield for a break at the Cluckin Spud cafe. We return to Gala via Bowden to Melrose and then retrace out route back to Gala
