Cutty Sark Gardens, by the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
This is definitely a Healthy Ride++. The London Classic Ride (http://www.thelondonclassic.org) is not going to take place this year. However, the good news is that this means that we can use its route for our own ride. The 2015 route was 36.6 miles long and that would take us all day to do, so we are offering this abridged version. We first cycle along the Thames Path to Ballast Quay and then go over the cobbles near the Pelton Arms. We then climb up Maze Hill and across Blackheath, where we climb up Heath Drive to visit Pagoda Gardens. We then decend Morden Hill to Eleverson Road cycle bridge. We then pass through St Johns on our way up to Hilly Fields. Our route then takes us across Blythe Hill fields and past Honor Oak and along the steepest hill or the ride, Canonbie Road. We then climb up along Elliot Bank to Crystal Palace and stop for a refreshment break at the Paradou Cafe. We then return via Southwark parks, Quietway 1, and Greenland Dock to Cutty Sark Gardens.
