Watch Tree Nature Reserve

This circular route starts from the Watchtree Nature Reserve the home of various aircraft including Hurricanes, Wellingtons & Vickers aircraft.

The route will follow undulating quiet country roads heading for the Solway Firth along the route of the Roman wall.

You'll then pass along some lanes with spectacular open views of the Burgh Marsh the site of the famous Cumbrian spaceman photo, before returning to the Nature Reserve for coffee and cake to celebrate our leaders retirement after 8 years faithful service to British Cycling's Guided ride programmes.
