On arrival into Reading, we will make our way to the Reading Museum to view Britain’s Bayeux Tapestry. We have a group booking for a self guided visit of the Bayeux Tapestry gallery. This will be a relatively short museum visit, to see the Bayeux tapestry and use the museum facilities.

We will aim to start our cycle ride at about 11:30 leaving Reading along the tow path along the river Kennet and then along the Thames before joining the cycle path on the side of the busy A4, where the traffic is fast moving. We will then follow the A321 in the direction of Wargrave which will lead us to our ascent of Crazies Hill and descent to Knowl Hill, where we will stop for refreshments. The rest of our route will be through countryside before reaching the suburbs of Maidenhead and the station to catch our Elizabeth Line back to Ealing Broadway.
