Starting from - The starting point is at the carpark on lockside road Preston.
The postcode takes you to Lockside road. Once you turn into Lockside just follow the road around to the car park.

There are no toilets at the start but if you get to Preston early there are some at Morrisons.
Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump and a plan to get back if there are problems. Don’t forget your pennies for the café stop. Please ensure you bring along a drink for the ride. Also check you brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before.

This is a new ride and we plan to go and watch the Dragon boat racing at Fairhaven lake Lytham.
The route is on road with some cycle lanes. We will get to the lake after 21 miles so bring a snack along. We will spend between 1-2 hours at the lake depending on what the participants want to do and we should be able to get a snack while we are there.

Hopefully the weather will be nice for this adventure but if pouring with rain i will probable cancel it as i don't think it will be much fun.
