Public Health - The River Medway Ride

The route follows NCN 1 from Riverside country park along compact gravel pathways. We head towards the Strand which is mostly tarmac via the boat yard entrance. We then return to Riverside CP and continue through the other way to the Motney Hill entrance to the country park. From Here we then head back to the start point.

The route is over 95% away from traffic wth small sections on segregated cycle lanes away from the roads.

The route leaves Riverside country parks and follows the river Medway all the way to the Strand. We then loop round and head back the way we come and then continue to re-trace the route. We then head up to the other end of the country park to a place called motley hill and then back to the start point.

Off road, 1 small section of 50metres on an industrial style road with very little traffic.
