Pre Easter Pop Up Cafe - Smallford Station

We will meet outside the Cotton Mill Community Centre. There is parking here that is free but please be aware there is a height barrier. There is also parking in the local surrounding roads. We will set out on the Alban way and work our way out through local parks and orchards round Tyttenhanger. We will make a short stop into Highfield Farm to say hello to the chickens, there is a automated farm shop here where you can purchase freshly laid eggs if you wish. We will continue back to the Alban Way and stop for refreshments at Smallford station where the pre Easter pop up café will be. There will be tea/coffee and cakes for sale as well as a few homemade crafts. Please make sure you bring cash with you. A bike lock may also be useful while we have our refreshments although we will be outside with the bikes.

Please remember to bring,
Two spare inner tubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools (tyre levers)
A water bottle with a drink in, riding can be very thirsty work.
Cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather

Riding from St Albans out towards Hatfield on the Alban way as well as few quieter roads.
