PICNIC IN PICKMERE

We start along the canal going to Altrincham and we carry on to the TPT for a short while. From there on we are on small roads till we get to Pickmere. We come back through Tatton park and go through Tabley house. Wecome back via Knutsford, Ashley, Wythenshawe.

This ride is graded as challenging as it is 38,5 miles.

It is a lovely route using towpath, trails and roads. You need to be confident riding on roads.

We will picnic at the lake, and we can also get a drink and use the toilet nearby. On the way back we will look at Tabley house, a listed stately home, and we will continue through Tatton park.

We will ride at leisurely pace and have short stops to hydrate and take photos. Please wear a helmet, bring a bike lock, bike lights, inner tube and snacks/money if you want to buy a drink. Do not forget your picnic!!!!
