This ride is to Alkrington Hall in Middleton and will be an estimated 14 miles of mixed terrain and surfaces, that will not be suitable to road bikes with thin tyres or adapted bikes with more than 2 wheels.

The route will take us on roads, before some gravel and uneven surfaces into Alkrington Hall. Continuing along uneven, potentially muddy, dirt tracks along a river, before joining tarmac road.

If weather is nice, bring a picnic and we will stop to enjoy the view at Alkrington Manor. If the weather is not so nice, we will stop at the Old Bake House on New Moston and end the ride. Keep an eye on the WhatsApp messages for changes to the ride.
