Parks and Pootle

A mix of side road, back roads and a pinch of main roads. All the roads are tarmac and the ride is suitable to road (smooth) and hybrid (more tread/knobbly) tyres and bikes.

We'll zig-zag our way to Headstone Manor, up Wakehams Hill to Pinner where we will stop for coffee, cake, and a chat before making our way back to the starting point.

A pootle type ride for those who are returning to cycling after some time away

There's a mix of back roads, parks, side roads and a couple of stretches of main roads. It's all tarmac so road (smooth) and hybrid (more tread and slightly knobbly) tyres and bikes are welcome.

We will stop at the tope of Wakeham's Hill to regrop before making our way into Pinner and stopping for coffee, cake and a chat at Daisy's in Pinner Memorial Park

Please bring a spare inner tube, bike pump, mobile phone, contactless. Check the weather the night before and dress accordingly - layers are good. Give your bike a check to make sure your tyres are pumped up and your brakes work as you will need them.
