Park to Park

Setting off from Halfords in Bolton, we'll take the scenic route to Leverhulme park where we'll follow the River Croal until it joins the River Irwell near Manchester. The route passes through at least five different country parks.

The majority of the route follows designated cycle trails and through parks. The roads that we counter are quiet side roads with little or no traffic. The trail can get muddy in parts so hybrid or wider tyres are preferable

As previously mentioned, it will be unlikely that there are any toilet stops at the moment therefore please be aware of this when booking on the ride. Due to the current climate, there probably isn’t anywhere to stop for refreshments so please arm yourself with refreshments, just in case.

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump.
