Starting point

Lancashire
PR7 2TZ

From Chorley railway station we ride via quiet country lanes, cycleways, major & minor roads past Charnock Richard towards Eccleston. After reaching Andertons Mill, our first climb is up Stoney Lane, maxing out at 11% followed by the long sharp descent that is Parbold Hill, maxing out at minus 12% along with busy traffic alongside so special care on the brakes is required. We tackle the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top as always. We can stop at Yours Is The Earth Café by the L & L Canal for a quick toilet / refreshments break after 17 miles if required before riding on to Dalton for our 2nd climb, up Beacon Lane, which isn't as steep, towards Upholland & Appley Bridge. When we reach Wrightington there's another chance to stop at Thirsty & Co. Café for a longer lunch break after 26 miles, before finishing our ride at Chorley train station.
