Starting from - Bourne Park, Wherstead road end , As you head out of town on Wherstead road - using the footpath on the right hand side travel all the way along to the garden center opposite the Petrol station and enter the park , the car park is situated just under the Railway bridge, meet near to the gates, IP2 8LT

suitable for Hybrid and Mountain Bikes as the transfer from road to Alton water cafe is not really suitable for road bikes:-),Starting at the wherstead road end of bourne park, this is a gentle ride with views across the Orwell and a great view of the bridge , a visit to Alton water for a light refreshment before heading back to Ipswich and ending at the opposite end of the park. 8 - 11 mph avg.
