Starting out from GreenYards in Melrose, cycling up over Bogley and taking a right to head towards Bowden via quiet country lanes, then back towards Newtown St B, crossing the A68 to Dryburgh. We then follow the route through Clintmains towards Bermersyde Moss, (with the option of a detour for Scott’s View if you want to) before heading towards Earlston, where we will stop at the Dragonfly for refreshment. It’s then an easy ride back to Melrose via Drygrange, Leaderfoot and Newstead.

Mainly quiet B roads, and traffic free routes. Crossing the A68 once.

Stopping for refreshments at the Dragonfly cafe in Earlston.

Please wear a helmet, bring a spare inner tube and tools you may need for your bike. A drink, money for the cafe. Dress appropriately for spring weather-layers are good.

We never leave anyone behind
