From Blackpill we head along the cycle path to Dunvant, where we join the road to cycle up to Three Crosses. From Three Crosses we follow the lanes through Cilonnen to Welshmoor and Llanrhidian. From here we will then have a number of options where we go for refreshments, and will leave the choice to the decision of the group, which will inform our return route. After refreshments we return to the cycle path to return to Blackpill.

A good value ride taking in the lanes and moorland scenery of North Gower. The distance of the ride is 21 miles, so is more suited to those that have some cycling experience, and have done a little cycling recently.

The route follows a mixture of classified and unclassified roads, and traffic free cycle paths.

We will stop as necessary to take a breather, photos etc, and stop at a cafe for coffee/refreshments.

Please wear helmets, have weather appropriate clothing and ensure that your bike is in good working order. It is always handy to carry a pump and spare inner tube/puncture repair kit. Please bring any refreshments you might need on route and money for refreshments when we stop.

We are a friendly, chatty group that never leaves anyone behind. We try and ride together as a group, but nobody is ever left behind. This is a nice steady route for those looking to do a 20 mile route with one or two hills. Newcomers are always welcome. This route is suitable for e bikes as well as hybrid and road bikes.
