North Edinburgh Meander

A meandering route, beginning with a cycle along the coast towards Granton, then looping back to Trinity. We pass through 5-ways again at our halfway point, this time heading South on our route to Lochend Park and Leith Links. A likely stop for refreshments at the Urban Croft before continuing on cobbled streets along to the Shore for some further exploration of historic Leith.

The route is mostly on cycle paths, cycle ways and quiet streets. All tarmac with about a mile and a half on cobbled streets where we will proceed with care.

Helmets are strongly recommended. Please aim to bring a spare inner tube (or two) to suit your bike tyres and/or a plan to get home with your bike in case of a problem (eg friend/taxi).

Bring card/cash with you if you want to purchase anything at our cafe stop.
