We’ll cycle along the A714 towards Glentrool but turn off at the Challoch church on the B7027. This is a climb but we’ll turn off left after a short way. This road is a bit rough with potholes but it’s nice and quiet. We’ll cross the A75 and cycle up to Barvennan where we turn left and cycle along to the A714. We only go a little way left on the A714 before we join the traffic free cycle path back to Newton Stewart.
