This ride is for you if:-

- you’ve signed up to West London Breeze, but not come on a ride with us yet

- you’ve ridden with us a few times, but don’t often get the chance

- you’ve ridden with us in the past (we’ve been going since 2017!) but got out of the habit?

- you’re having a “September reset”, and wanting to get out on your bike more?

This is a short, gentle ride around some local parks and open spaces. We will pause quite frequently, to admire the views, take photos, etc and enjoy a relaxed social morning out together.

From Ealing Town Hall, we ride on back roads through West Ealing and down to the canal at Hanwell Locks. We turn off the canal onto the path along the River Brent, which takes us under a tunnel beneath the Uxbridge Road, across Brent Meadow, and into the Hanwell Bunny Park. More off-road tracks through the Brent Valley bring us up to Perivale Park, where we make our way to the Pear Tree Bistro https://peartreeparkbistro.co.uk/ for our refreshment stop.

After refreshments, we turn for home, riding through Pitshanger Park and taking quieter back roads into Ealing.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

Easy-going local ride, especially for newcomers, occasional riders, and less confident cyclists.

Quiet back roads, traffic-free shared paths through parks; some uneven ground, some potentially muddy areas if we have wet weather.

Refreshment stop at the Pear Tree Bistro next to Perivale Park.

Lock for your bike. Money/card for cafe stop.

First-timers welcome!
