Please arrive 10 minutes prior to ride start for introductions.
If you arrive by car there is plenty of space to park on the road as the pub car park has ANPR and is chargeable. B31 2LQ

A mainly off road ride to and through one of the longest canal tunnels in the UK, the Netherton Tunnel, Dudley.
We will be starting at the Black Horse with a short road ride to the Rae Valley Route. We will then pick up the canals through Birmingham Centre and out through Smethwick on to Netherton where we cycle just under the 3km stretch of pitch dark tunnel, you will need a good light.
Cafe stop is just after the tunnel at Bumble Hole nature reserve.
Suitable for gravel or mountain bikes, as it looks to be dry a road bike with at least 28mm tyres will also be fine.
There are a couple of very short hike a bike bits, steps over a canal bridge is one, also a couple of short, sharp climbs on our return which are easily walked. Yes, we wait at tge top. There are also some short road sections.
Estimated time of return is 2.30pm to 3.00pm.
Please wear a helmet, bring water and a snack and some cash or card for the cafr stop.
