Starting point

London

Our destination for this train-assisted ride is the Museum of the Home https://www.museumofthehome.org.uk/ in Hoxton, which offers a fascinating exploration of experiences and meanings of home, in different time periods and in different cultures. Admission is free to both permanent and temporary exhibitions.

For our ride, we will take the Elizabeth Line from Ealing Broadway to Paddington, then ride through the Royal Parks and follow Cycleway 3 across Parliament Square, along the Embankment, past Tower Hill and onto Cable Street. Turning north, we make our way through the East End to the lovely green spaces of Mile End and Victoria Parks. We ride through Hackney and London Fields, and then into buzzy Hoxton, for refreshments in a local café, before heading to the Museum. (If you prefer not to visit the Museum, you are welcome to leave at the café stop and make your own way home.)

We will return on public transport from Hoxton Station, from where you can take the Windrush Line, either north to Highbury & Islington and change to the Mildmay Line to Willesden Junction, or south to Whitechapel for the Elizabeth Line to Ealing.
