More than a gentle breeze……. To Hursley park




Starting at Valley Park community centre we will we cycling to Otterbourne, then on to Compton where we will cycle along a gravel track with wonderful views of Winchester. We then descend down into Hursley and stop for coffee at Hursley Park. We will return to the start via Ampfield .

The route is mainly on cycle paths and quiet country lanes with a short stretch along a busier road. The route includes a few hills which we will pedal at a gentle pace, taking a breather at the top. We will be cycling together as a group at a pace to suit all, there is no such thing as holding people up!

You will need
A roadworthy bike & helmet (all bikes are welcome on a Breeze ride)
An inner tube and pump to fit your bike (you don't need to be able to fix a puncture yourself, we can work together)
A drink
Suncream, hopefully!
Suitable clothing for the weather
Money / payment card for coffee / cake at the cafe
