Starting from - Robin Park Arena Car Park. Please note the meeting point is at the far-left corner of car park between DW stadium and Wigan Warriors Store/Athletics Track at the ‘Arena’, not the retail park. Parking is pay and display but I should have free passes available on the day.

Come and join us for some fun on this mostly traffic free canal side ride starting from Robin Park Arena, along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, through the local woodlands and flashes, with a break at Haigh Woodland Park for Mince Pie and Mulled Wine refreshments.
The ride is up to approximately 20 miles. Exact route to be decided depending on weather/ground conditions but uses cycle paths, canal towpaths and woodland tracks, possibility of some linking road sections. Suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes, if there has been a lot of rain recently there would be some muddy puddles to add to the fun!! There are some lock gates to navigate along the way and a few inclines to climb (but we aren’t too proud to push if necessary).
There will be plenty of rest stops and its advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing.
