Mince Pie Ride From Robin Park - 20 Mile Festive Bike Ride

Fancy Dress positively encouraged!! A great meet up for our Be Well and Guided Ride friends from across the borough.
Come and join us for some fun on this mostly traffic free canal side ride starting from Robin Park Arena, along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, through the local woodlands and flashes, with a break at Haigh Woodland Park for Mince Pie and Mulled Wine refreshments.
The ride is approximately 20 miles and uses cycle paths, canal towpaths and quiet country lanes and is suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes although if there has been a lot of rain recently there would be some muddy puddles to add to the fun!! There are some lock gates to navigate along the way and a few inclines to climb (but we aren’t too proud to push if necessary).
There will be plenty of rest stops and its advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing.
