This ride starts in Tankerton. From here we take our usual route along the Crab and Winkle Way into Canterbury continuing on the Stour Valley path to Chartham. From here we continue to the Pilgrims Way cycle trail through Godmersham where we re-join the road and ride into Wye. A quick stop here at The Hub for coffee and cake before we continue. Once out of Wye we will ride a SHORT way up White Hill - turning right onto another off-road path, though this is also used by vehicles (mostly farm vehicles). This road takes us through Chilham and Old Wives Lees on our journey back home via Dunkirk, Graveney and Whitstable.

A challenging ride with some off-road and some hills.

A mixture of country roads, town roads, off-road tracks and woodland.

We will have a short coffee/cake stop at The Hub in Wye. This is about half way.

Helmets to be worn on this ride please. Carry spare inner tube for your bike and of course the necessary tools to change any inner tubes. Dress for the weather. And of course bring cash/card for refreshments. Your bike should be roadworthy.

This will be a tough ride and you should be competent and confident riding in traffic. You should be reasonably confident riding of gravel paths.
