Familiar route along Coach Road and then through Lower Baildon to Esholt before ascending Old Hollins Hill. We make our way through Guiseley heading to the airport via Carlton. We then loop round Cookridge before heading down to Horsforth and our lunch stop. Suitably refreshed we go towards Rawdon before dropping down to the private road Woodlands Drive that comes out in Apperley Bridge. After a brief canal section we will go up Ainsbury Avenue towards Thackley where we pick up Windhill Old Road back into Shipley and finally the canal through Saltaire back to base.

Familiar ride circling the airport from Hirst Lock

Mainly on road but traffic free canal sections from Apperley Bridge to Esholt then Shipley to Hirst Lock plus restricted roads Woodlands Drive and Ainsbury Avenue

Mein Haus in Horsforth at about 13 miles

Helmets of course, spare inner tube and weather appropriate clothing with good visibity.
